- What tasks do you think are involved in curating an art exhibition? Make a list of the separate items (g. commissioning artists, materials and equipment, shipping, travel, etc.). (5 mins)
- Estimate how much each item might cost. (15 mins)
Activity 1 – 50 mins
Look at the website for The Place Is Here exhibition. (30 mins)
Read the handout. Using the question sheet, and working in pairs, answer the questions. (20 mins)

Discuss your responses to the questions in Activity 1 in pairs.

Using the template provided, create a budget in an Excel spread-sheet for curating an exhibition.
